Take the chance of losing their data so my idea is to backup the offline files prior to recreating the drive mapping and hope all goes well, with the worst case being I have to manually replace the files on the server with the files from the local cache. If I recreate the drive mapping, will that somehow affect the offline cache or will the sync center realize that it's already been synced in the past and simply "resume" the process? I can't I was able to verify the existence of the files on the server by checking in the sync manager and checking the offline files that are on the system and they are present.Īll the above leads to the question I have.
